Mr. Haythem Macki

Managing Director

Haythem joined the Muna Noor Group in 2019 and is overseeing the six group companies.

A graduate in Business Administration Majoring in International Economics and Business Administration from the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. Haythem has worked both in the public and private sectors. In addition, he has dedicated his time to ensure that the youth of Oman receive quality higher education and vocational training through ICEM (International College of Engineering and Management) which he started back in 1995 to enhance student skills and to enable them to secure employment in the industry.

Haythem’s career began with several years as an Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager at the Central Bank of Oman including international secondments to various locations including London.  He moved on to head up Investment Banking at the Oman Arab Bank SAOC. Subsequently he joined Al Mawarid Securities Company SAOG as the Executive Director and was responsible for re-engineering, re-strategizing and spearheading the company’s return to profitability. He was instrumental in forming the tripartite merger - the first of its kind in the history of Oman’s investment banking sector which created The Financial Corporation SAOG (FINCORP). He is a Founding Partner of Growthgate, an investment firm established in late 2007, engaged in direct equity investments with a focus on the middle market segment in the GCC and MENA. Haythem is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) in Oman which regulates and supervises the capital market and insurance sectors. Haythem also holds the position of a Non-Executive Director of Averda, a leading waste management company operating in India, Middle East and Africa.
